J&K: At least four CISF jawans killed in fratricide incident

As per reports, an argument took place between two jawans over some issue and later one of them opened indiscriminate firing leading to the fatalities.

At least four Central Industrial Police Force (CISF) personnel were killed in a fratricide incident in Jammu & Kashmir's Kathua district, according to officials.

They said an argument took place between two jawans over some issue and later one of them opened indiscriminate firing with an AK-47 rifle causing the fatalities. Senior officers have rushed to the scene and further details are awaited, the officials said.

The CISF personnel were guarding Sewa-III power project at Mashka village of Basohli bordering Himachal Pradesh when the firing happened, the officials said.
